Charity Update

The sponsorship for doing the Paris and London marathons is a work-in-progress.  Fund raising is progressing more slowly than we had hoped but it is steady and we are blessed with generous friends and family.

Particularly touching was a recent offline donation from Stephen and Anthea who have problems of their own.

An unusual sponsorship came from the Camerons (Sarah, Angus, Tally and Felix) who are looking after our dog while we are away and suggested we make the fees we would have paid into a donation.  €120 is duly donated in their name which makes them our largest contributor to date.

I am also pleased to note that the sceptic that prompted this post has also made a contribution and that was very heartening.

If you've been biding your time, it really isn't too late to give.  Anything, even just a couple of quid, will be put to good use helping improve lives in some of the poorest communities worldwide.

Thanks.
