I pushed out my longest distance since the reboot to 10k yesterday and today I followed up with a very gentle 8k. Things are going OK as long as I remember to keep myself in check. Which means that I'll be taking a few days off now.
It's a useful time to address my wardrobe malfunction...
It looks like pretty much all the running kit I have has shrunk over the last few years.
When I stopped running about 4 years ago, I was mostly wearing Large shirts which hung somewhat loosely on me. That's mostly because I'm over 6ft tall (1.85m) and Medium is too short in the body.
Now I'm on the border between XXXL and XXL so I clearly have some work to do. As I am increasing the number of activities I do per week, it has become very clear that just one pair of short and one top isn't going to be enough. It pains me to buy kit that I will deliberately be trying not to fit in for too long but that's just the way of it.
At least when I get down a couple of sizes, I can start to use the ridiculous number of event technical tops that I amassed over the years.
